In celebration of Aiba's birthday, I've translated his article from the December issue of Galac. It's not your typical idol magazine, and the quality of the writing really reflects that. I was going to post this tomorrow for his birthday, but figured I'd give those who are following this journal a treat. :)

Comments always appreciated; enjoy!

It's been forever since I last touched this, but I've finally gone and completed Sho's 50 questions from Pia to ease myself back into translating after being sick for so long. The other half of Aiba's Cut article, the rest of the secret letters and new projects will hopefully follow soon too.

Q1-10 can be found here, and Q11-25 here, and Q26-35 here. Enjoy!

Last letter! I loved this episode, for what it's worth, and I guess viewers in Japan did too, if the 10.1% rating was any indication. ♥

Finally found a blog that has all the letters typed out in Japanese. I'll be catching up with all the letters that have been out since I last left off today, so apologies in advance for the spam!

This is something I really think everyone should read-- I didn't even mind how tl;dr this entry got, because what Sho's friends did for him was that sweet and just utterly amazing. Congratulations on not only your 10th anniversary, Sho, but also on having some of the best friends anyone can ever, ever ask for.

Sorry about the lack of Masamune's letters, but the site keeps giving me the same black error page every time I try to access the letters section-- it's not that I don't want to translate it, but I literally can't. :(

Here's a short group talk from their latest issue of TV Guide to tide you over while I try to get back into my translating groove-- there's a lot of good-natured ribbing about Aiba's drama, it's very cute. ♥ Enjoy!

Oh man, I almost forgot there was going to be an update today even though I watched the episode as it aired. Sorry for the slight lateness, but here's Masamune's new letter! It sounds like someone's really starting to ease into his new father role ♥

Enjoy, and check back again next week!

I love Cut interviews, I really do, so it should come as no surprise that I'm putting other projects aside to work on this first. Call me biased, but I really enjoyed the write-up about Aiba in the introduction of this article, and the rest of it was very interesting too. Only the first page is done for now, but I'll work on the second half soon.

Comments are always love; enjoy!

Aiba Masaki - Cut - 11/2009 - Part 1 of 2 )

Along with the airing of My Girl's next episode, the official site updated with another new letter from Masamune! I find these a really nice finishing touch for each episode, and I hope everyone does too.

Enjoy, and check back again next week!

The My Girl official site updated with a neat little feature: find the five ladybugs hidden throughout the site and you will unlock a page with letters Masamune wrote to a deceased Youko following the progression of the series. Only the first letter is available so far, but it's adorable and if you had watched the first episode or read the manga already, it would make it that much more awww-worthy.

The Ladybug Diaries update far too quickly for me to keep up, and most of it aren't really interesting tidbits anyway, so I probably won't keep translating every single post, but I might go back and pick out the more interesting ones to do when I have the time. I'm going to do Aiba's section from the cast interviews on the official site too, so look forward to that soon!

I'm also working on the next group for my 1000-celebration, so fans of V6 and TOKIO (hint: it's a cross talk!) should have something to read soon as well. In the meantime, enjoy!

I'm still on hiatus, but I promised I'd do the second half of their AneCan interviews and also figured this would be a nice way to kick off the 1000 friends mark celebrations :) For those who missed Ohno's and Sho's parts, you can read them here.

Comments are always appreciated; enjoy!

EDIT: I just found out that Basic and Plus accounts are only allowed to add a maximum of 999 friends, so I apologize to all the new people who have added this journal for not adding you back! It's not because I don't want to, it's because I can't :(

And with Ohno's interview, the entire Hanako article is done! It only took me... what, six hours? Ahaha... haha. um. Happy birthday to me? (I need sleep. ;_;)

Comments always appreciated, blah blah you get the drill!
